There are several elements that make a team stronger together, whether on the work site or in the conference room. Defining the skills necessary for the project and recognizing those strengths within the team helps solidify the team’s collective and individual purposes.
Great relationships are not characterized by the absence of conflict, but actually the ability to repair after a break (conflict). A strong team must be founded on trust and demonstrate accountability and to be focused on results. An informed team is a unified team. Effective communication is essential and we stay abreast of each other’s progress.
Being part of a great team at work is a phenomenal feeling. If you know that feeling, hold onto it. The results are that we are changing the lives of people that we work with everyday. The final function of a good team is Focusing on Results. That means there is no status or ego. We must believe that If the team fails, I fail and If I succeed, we succeed.
